Provenance: The William A. Keegan family scrapbook, spanning 1856 to ca. 1903. Three members of the Keegan family worked for the American Bank Note Company, one of whom was employed as a plate printer.
This vignette is the same Lincoln portrait used on the 1861 $10 Demand Note and the 1863 $10 Legal Tender Note, both produced by ABNC.
The proof is backed by a portion of the original album page to which the proof was mounted. Excellent condition.
