Gray-black on tinted and watermarked paper. The tint is composed of intersecting wavy lines, and within their borders reads “NEW YORK PRODUCE EXCHANGE BANK” in a repeating pattern. The pattern also forms ovals containing the abbreviation NYPEB. This is revealed in the closeup and false color images.
The watermark design occupies nearly the entirety of the check, reading “NEW YORK PRODUCE EXCHANGE BANK” in large letters.
Some staining and bleeding of the red inks. Priced accordingly. Nevertheless a scarce check.
