Purple on blue paper with multiple watermarks of the monogram “CES.” Revenue imprinted checks were supposed to be prepared by first impring the paper with the stamp, then printing the check design over it. In this example, the orange ink of the Type X7 imprint is clearly seen to overprint several letters in the bank name.
