A high dollar value check written for $5,027.74 in 1875

Red on white paper. The second image is a closeup in which you can see that the artist who designed the vignette ran out of room to fully spell “TRADESMENS” on the bank’s facade.

Clear impression of the Type K imprint, appears slightly darker in the scan.

Typical cut cancels (2) with a tiny tear above the “h” of “Thousand. Several small condition faults as seen in the scan.

Overall VF appearance, but nevertheless priced accordingly.
