RN-E4 Bank of New York — Imprint with Broken Die

Purple on white paper, red check number. A former of this check owner notated the areas of two die breaks on the check in pencil: a chip missing out of the right edge, and a clipped corner.

The whole dollar amount of the check was indicated with a numerical punch cancel ($133).

Typical spindle cut is not immediately noticeable. A very clean and crisp example.
