Black on white paper with overall tint of vertical gray lines. Great vignettes. Facsimile Type G imprint used post-1883 after the bank check tax had been repealed. Imprint reads “Stamp Copyrighted A. Gast & Co. — St. Louis & N.Y.” But the ‘stamp’ served no official purpose.

A beautiful example of this Dakota territorial check.

Typical hole punch cancel through written amount, very light crease, tiny small flaws.
