Provenance: The William A. Keegan family scrapbook, spanning 1860 to ca. 1903. Three members of the Keegan family worked for the American Bank Note Company, one of whom was employed as a plate printer.
Details: A pleasant scene with four head of cattle and three sheep in the background. The brown backing is a portion of the original album page to which the proof was attached. The untrimmed paper backing lends a rustic feel to the item. However, it can be easily and safely trimmed “square” upon request.
