Letterhead with fantastic graphics of a bear and bananas. The letter was apparently written to a stamp dealer, reading:
“Dear Sir, I am enclosing 17¢ stamps to pay for those I took from your approval sheets. Sorry I could not use more. I need more U.S. postage before 1888.”
Typical creases from a folded letter. Excellent condition.
