1864 Lincoln Subscription Labels, Five Denominations

3¢, 4¢, 5¢, 10¢ and 12¢ denominations on glazed papers. The Springer Catalog, 7th Edition, lists six of these stamp-sized labels, all of which are scarce. “Labels sold by Lincoln supporters to raise money for re-election campaign. Some of these are known on cover, franked with postage stamps of the period.”
