A very colorful and busy check: black, blue, and red on white paper with purple cashier’s handstamps. Detailed vignette, an interpretation of the Vermont State seal. Here we find that some artistic license was exercised in the rendering of the tree which is only supposed to have 14 branches in keeping with Vermont having been the 14th state admitted to the Union. But for this check 20 branches will just have to suffice.
Unusual circular cut cancel, light creases.
