American Bank Note Company Pictorial Die Proof
Provenance: The William A. Keegan family scrapbook, spanning 1856 to ca. 1903. Three members of the Keegan family worked for the American Bank Note Company, one of whom was employed as a plate printer.
Description: A most detailed and large engraving, approx. 8″ x 5″. Some edge toning and small corner stain. This proof was successfully removed from the brittle album page on which it was originally mounted, with only adhesive stains remaining.
