RN-D1 Rocky Mountain National Bank of Central City, CO

Engraved by National Bank Note Company

Bank Draft, Kountze Brothers Bankers, NY

Brown and black on white paper, red printed serial number. The vignette is a highly dramatic scene of a Native American trapped under his fallen horse while fending off a bear attack.

A “jumbo” copy on three sides, with the right side showing the registration marks. The vignette is particularly clear in this copy.

Punch hole through the amount at upper left is typical for copies of this check. Typical spindle cut through imprint, some creasing, VF.
